Squam Lake is a ~15 minute drive from Main Street in Plymouth.

There are also two public beaches on the lake that are great options for anyone just looking for a casual swim - Ashland Town Beach and Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest.

The Newton Trailhead - Rainbow Falls hike is a short 1.2 mile out and back trail ending at the scenic Rainbow Falls.

The West Rattlesnake Mountain hike is a 3.7-mile out-and-back trail that is considered a moderately challenging route and feautres stunning views of the surrounding lakes. All Trails link here.
